CM Sai’s Hyderabad Meet Garners Rs 9,580 Crore in Investment Proposals

Chhattisgarh's investment push received a major boost in Hyderabad on Thursday. The state attracted investment proposals worth Rs 9,580 crore during an investors' meet attended by leading industrial groups.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai personally interacted with investors at the event, handed over invitation letters and invited companies to explore opportunities in Chhattisgarh. Seven companies submitted investment proposals across sectors such as data centres, semiconductors, cement, solar equipment, textiles, pharmaceuticals and dairy processing. Together, these projects are expected to create nearly 7,800 direct jobs.
The biggest proposal came from Hypernext Data Center Limited. The company plans to invest Rs 4,200 crore in a data centre project in Chhattisgarh. The project is expected to generate around 250 jobs. Feegrade and Company Private Limited proposed an investment of Rs 2,912 crore in the cement sector. The project could create close to 4,000 employment opportunities. Nivai Labs Private Limited showed interest in setting up semiconductor and GPU infrastructure with an investment of Rs 1,000 crore. SG Mart Limited, which manufactures solar structure components, proposed a Rs 700 crore investment. The project is likely to provide jobs to around 450 people. Textile manufacturer Shri Saravana Mills Private Limited submitted a proposal worth Rs 528 crore. The project is expected to create nearly 2,500 jobs. Kabra Drugs proposed Rs 200 crore for pharmaceutical manufacturing, while Dinshaw's Dairy Foods submitted a Rs 40 crore proposal for a milk processing unit that could employ around 150 people.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Sai said Chhattisgarh is emerging as a preferred investment destination. He highlighted the state's single-window clearance system, improving infrastructure and investor-friendly policies. He invited companies from the IT, pharmaceutical and logistics sectors to consider investing in the state. Sai said Hyderabad's transformation into a global technology hub serves as an inspiration. He noted that Chhattisgarh is following a similar growth path and is witnessing steady progress in manufacturing, services and technology sectors.
The Chief Minister also revealed that investment proposals received by the state through various outreach programmes have already crossed Rs 8 lakh crore. He said proposals worth Rs 3.5 lakh crore have been received in the energy sector alone. He described Chhattisgarh as a fast-growing centre for green steel production and an important contributor to India's power sector.
On the sidelines of the event, the state delegation held discussions with senior executives from Google India, IBM, Polycab India, Page Industries and Delta Electronics regarding future investment opportunities. Sai also met representatives of the Swaminarayan Gurukul organisation. Discussions were held on a proposal to establish a 650-bed charitable hospital in Raipur's Tatibandh area. Commerce and Industries Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan, Chief Secretary Vikas Sheel, Principal Secretary Subodh Singh, Investment Commissioner Ritu Sain and other senior officials were present during the investors' meet.
